Our editorial approach
We write for clarity, empathy and accuracy. That means short sentences, everyday words, and honesty about what is uncertain. We explain what tests can and cannot show, and we label emerging technologies by how established they really are.
We avoid fear-based messages. Awareness should leave people feeling more able to act, not more afraid.
